She kicked off her career by posting covers of beloved country songs to her Facebook page and soon after started sharing her own music to great success. Born and raised in Waterloo, Illinois, Kay has been singing since her teens, using songwriting as a way to channel her struggles of growing up. She has previously supported artists such as Jordan David, Tim McGraw, Chase Rise, and JoDee Messina.
